Goodbye, Russia!

Today it's my last day in Moscow. It's an end of my six year life in Russia. Something is changing, something is becoming more complicated inside. But I'm ready for it. I'll always keep these memories on my mind. I'll never forget Moscow, its hospitality, its people, its beautiful and rich history, and even its skinheads :) I'm thankful for all what I've earned here. I'm sure of one thing - I'll come back soon :) -- Alexandrovsky sad. September 2007. "Three brothers" of Kremlin. Love...

My Moscow: part 2

Hi there, Here is a second part of "My Moscow" photo-report. I've tried to focus here on specific detailes with a link to the history of Russia or Moscow. -- On the wall: "Alexandr Sergeevich Pushkin visited the Moscow State University in September of 1832" Moscow Metro named after V.I.Lenin is known as one of the best in the world. But bust of Lenin inside the metro seems "unhappy..." BBC has called his as "The man who really beat Hitler", and he is galloping to sky? (The monument to Marshal G.K. Zhukov) But something has not changed... Just "Love..." :) To be continued...

My Moscow

Yesterday, we had an unusually sunny weather in Moscow. I have enjoyed to walk through the main streets and places from Tverskaya to Mohovaya streets, "Ohotny riyad" centre, and after visiting Journalism Department of the Moscow State University, I went to GUM centre for the meeting with friends. We were walking and walking inside the "Alexandrovsky sad" (Alexander's garden). I like this park, every time when I come here I find it different, new, changed. There are a lot of places in this city, where I would (n't) like to be. They have certain faces, emotions and feelings like humans. Now, I would like to show you some of them in following pictures I made yesterday. Face of Dostoevsky and birds... they are so similar, aren't they? This is a "Home of Journalism" for all CIS countries We don't care... we have love :) "Olimpiysky" swimming pool. No comment... to be continued...
