I am 26

I am 26 today! It's an interesting feeling inside... niether negative, nor positive, but... feeling. Just something like I'm starting to understand the "real meaning of my life..." I'm happy, btw. Second year, one after another, I'm celebrating my BD in Prague, in a city of dream, and I'm happy... From the last night we have celebrated it with my friends here in Prague. And today we've even been to the beautiful city of Melnik. It was like something from a fairy tale :)) I'll put into here some interesting pictures from this trip as soon as possible :)

17 months in a city of dream

I remember my first trip to Prague. It was in autumn of 2005. Three months of exploring the new world: fabulous old city combined with modernized Europe, gorgeous architecture, narrow streets full of tourists from all over the world, and friendly Czech people. Next month I’m going back to Moscow, it’s going to be a beginning of a new era, beginning of a completely new chapter of my life… some big changes are coming up that little scare my "foolish heart"… :) I probably may not be able to visit Prague so often like it’s been last two years. But I’ll keep every moment spent here in the bottom of my heart. These pictures I've taken in 2006 and 2007. And it continues as I'm sti...

But Kyrgyzstan is also known as an “island of democracy” in a region… One of the main factors that provided confidence for such image is a strong civil society. There are more than 8 000 non-governmental organizations have registered in the country, and about 500 of them are in proactive position. But for the country like Kyrgyzstan with its about 5 million population (more than 1 million have fled to other countries for a better life) even this number of NGO’s would be enough, if there is a possibility to work, to help people in a fighting against corruption, against poverty, and unfairness of the juridicial system. Dear friends, here is an article from the Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty’s correspondent Janyl Chytyrbaeva , reporting about different forms of attacks against civil society acti...
